ASOV Internal Sponsorship Program – Member Guide
The Aquarium Society of Victoria (ASOV) is excited to launch an Internal Sponsorship Program. This program is designed to help members turn their ideas and initiatives into reality with the club’s support.
Whether you want to run a project, trial a new breeding technique, develop educational content, or share an innovation with the hobby, the society may provide sponsorship in the form of financial assistance, resources, or promotional support.
The program is open to all financial members. Applications are reviewed by the Committee, and successful projects will be shared with the wider club through blog updates and, if members are comfortable, short talks at monthly meetings. The goal is to encourage creativity, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across our community.

How to Apply – Step by Step
Step 1: Think of an initiative
Identify an idea, project, or activity that would benefit the club or the aquarium hobby.
Step 2: Complete your application via email

Step 3: Submit to the Committee
Send your application to the ASOV Committee for review.
Step 4: Committee review
The Committee will assess your idea’s value, feasibility, and alignment with club goals.
Step 5: Outcome notification
You’ll be advised if your application has been approved or declined.
Step 6: Share your progress
Successful applicants will:
- Post updates on the ASOV Blog platform
- Present outcomes at a monthly meeting (if comfortable)
