ASOV – February Meeting – 28th February

Our guest speaker for our February meeting is Glenn Briggs, discussing West African Dwarf Cichlids.

Besides explaining how he keeps and breeds some of these species, Glenn will also give a brief insight into the process of overseas aquarium fish being shipped to Australia, before they eventually arrive at our local aquarium store.

Glenn started keeping fish way back in 1975, his primary interests have always been Australian and New Guinea fishes, closely followed by small and moderate sized Cichlid species, and in more recent times Killifish and Ricefish. Glenn is a life member of ANGFA (Australia New Guinea Fishes Association). Glenn also worked in the wholesale aquarium trade for 20+ years for Aquarium Industries and Bayfish, plus at several retail aquarium stores as well.
